Abstrakt: In contrast to common alkenes and enol ethers, the anglestrained double bonds of norbornene, dimethyl norbornadiene2,3dicarboxylate, and acenaphthylene undergo 32 cycloadditions with isoquinolinium Narylimides. The structures of the crystalline adducts have been elucidated from their 1H nmr spectra.
