Abstrakt: Interference holography with a pulsed ruby laser is used as a tool for analyzing complex mechanical vibrations. With the aid of a moire technique, the combination of two interferograms taken in special, electronically controlled conditions yields the contribution to the vibration pattern corresponding to a single frequency. Quantitative analysis then follows the same lines as in ordinary holographic interferometry.
