In this work photoacoustic spectroscopy is applied to the investigation of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) films dyed with Blue Samaron HGS or Dianix FB-E Red dyes. The results showed that the best dyeing conditions were to treat the films for 15 min at 85 °C with N,N-dimethylacrylamide as a modifier, followed by a dyeing time of 30 min at 85 °C. These conditions were shown to be suitable for both dyes. It was observed that the technique was able to show the best variables for the dyeing processes. |
