The equimolecular adducts between aminoalkoxyphosphines (Me2N)3–n(tBuO)nP with n = 1,2, and 3) and borane BH3have been prepared and characterised. The nmr study has been undertaken to compare some parameters (1JBH, 1JBP, δ11B etc.) with both those derived from the enthalpies of reaction of diborane with the parent phosphines and from the displacement reactions. No overall correlations between the 1JBPcoupling constants and the complex stabilities seem evident. |
