| Abstrakt: |
Five new species of sarcoptiform mites are assigned to the family Canestriniidae. These species associated with passalid beetles are placed in three new genera: Cnecoderma ovalis (Australia), C. dolichopoda (Australia), Hypopteryx collaris (Australia), Arraphosoma minax (New Guinea) and A. paraminax (Molucca Islands). The relationship of these species to other canestriniids cannot be stated with certainty. |
