Effluent flow rates from 20 package extended aeration plants were computed for assessing flow patterns generated in subdivisions, schools and other such installations. Techniques for recording such flows are discussed. Equations associating peaking factors with contributing populations are derived. Also, hydraulic loading factors are related to effluent quality. |
