Abstrakt:	A practical greenhouse method of screening potato seedlings for leaf roll virus resistance is described. Infected seedlings could not always be detected by symptoms, but nymphs ofM. persicaerecovered virus from inoculated plants and transmitted it toP. floridana. Best results were obtained when recovery tests were made 3 or 4 weeks after seedlings were infected.
