The chromatographic behavior of Tenax [poly(p-2,6-diphenylphenyleneoxide)] was investigated, and compared to other microporous polymeric sorbents used as column packing. Physical properties (specific surface area, pore size and distribution, porosity and thermogravimetric behavior) of Tenax have also been determined and related to its sorption characteristics. |
