[Et4N][HF2] reacted with VO(acac)2 and MoO2(acac)2 in acetonitrile at room temperature with elimination of Hacac to produce the metalates [Et4N][(acac)VOF2] 1 and [Et4N][(acac)MoO2F2 first examples of fluorometalates of vanadium and molybdenum bearing the acetylacetonato group. The crystal structures have been determined. |
