A case of Budd-Chiari syndrome developing in a 29-year-old male with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) is reported. The patient represents the fifth reported case of proven hepatic vein thrombosis and Budd-Chiari syndrome in a patient with PNH, and is the first person to survive more than 3 years after onset of symptoms. |
