Abstrakt: Conclusions 1.The authors measured the separation factor of the hydrogen isotopes in exchange between hydrogen and liquid ammonia over a wide range of temperatures (from -70 to +95°C).2.It was found that the temperature dependence of a can be expressed by the equation log a=A/T+B, where A=235; this agrees with Bigeleisen's theoretical results.3.It was established experimentally that the separation coefficient depends markedly on the deuterium concentration. An equation is suggested which satisfactorily represents the concentration dependence of a.4.At low deuterium concentrations, Bigeleisen's data can be used.
