Summary A combined GC-MS-method is described to detect natural and synthetic oestrogenes in liver and muscle tissues, which allows a highly sensitive and specific determination at relatively few extraction and purification steps. The investigated samples of calf and chicken liver frequently showed oestradiol concentrations of 10 ppb which are definitely higher than the normal concentrations. |
