Conversion of substituted acetylenes and acetonitrile in the synthesis of aliphatic alcohols from CO and H2 on fused iron catalysts

Abstrakt:	It was shown that butyne-1 and hexyne-1 (monosubstituted acetylenes) initiate the synthesis of alcohols from CO and H2 on fused iron catalysts. Acetonitrile, butynediol, propargyl halides, and diethylacetylene do not initiate the process.
