Abstrakt: 1.In the reaction of potassium tetrachloroplatoate with ethyl iodide in an aqueous solution at room temperature, the ethyl complex of platinum(IV) is formed, which is characterized by PMR spectra.2.In aqueous solutions containing chloride ions, the ethyl complex of platinum(IV) decomposes to form ethanol, ethyl chloride and an ethylene complex of platinum(II).
