1.It was shown by the PMR and gas-liquid chromatographic methods that the decomposition of the methyl complex of Pt(IV) in aqueous solutions proceeds along two parallel pathways with the formation of CH3Cl and CH3OH.2.Increasing the chloride ion concentration leads to an increase in the yield of CH3Cl, whereupon the yield of CH3OH falls; transition from aqueous solutions to water-acetic acid mixtures decreases the yield of CH3OH. |
