Abstrakt:	Fluoroolefins containing both a fluorine atom and methoxy group in the allylic position are readily converted by the action of SbF5 to a,ß-unsaturated fluoroketones which are cyclized by the action of fluoride ion or SbF5 to give 2,5-dihydrofurans.
