Abstrakt: 1.Lithium diphenylphosphide added to monosilacyclobutanes by ring opening with the formation of Si-P and C-Li bonds which cause further polymerization of the monosilacyclobutanes.2.Polymer chain termination occurs by the loss of lithium hydride. This process is significant even in the initial polymerization steps. Molecules are formed with allyl groups at the silicon atom.
