1.With exchange of ligands in the Bu4NalH4-Bu4NAlCl4 system in benzene, depending on the ratio of the initial substances we observe predominant formation of compounds with AlH3Cl-, AlH2Cl2-, and AlHCl3- anions; as a result of partial disproportionation, they contain compounds of two neighboring forms as impurities.2.In the case of the reaction of Bu4NAlH4, with CHCl3, CH2Cl2, and C2H4Cl2, in the hydridoaluminate ion the hydrogen is successively replaced by chlorine, with eventual formation of the AlCl4 salt.3.The reaction of Bu4NAlH4, with I2 in benzene takes place at ?20°C with formation of individual compounds of tetrabutylammonium with AlH3-, AlH2I2-, and AlHI3- anions.4.The stability of compounds Bu4NAlH4-nXn, where X=Cl, Br, or I, n=1, 2, 3, with respect to reactions of disproportionation in a benzene solution increases in the order Cl < Br < I. |
