Decarbonylation of several σ-acyl derivatives of molybdenum and tungsten cyclopentadienyltricarbonyls

Abstrakt: 1.New acyl derivatives have been obtained by reacting cyclopentadienyltricarbonylmolybdenum and cyclopentadienyltricarbonyltungsten anions with cinnamoyl chloride and phenylpropioloyl chloride. In the case of the phenylpropioloyl derivatives, decarbonylation yields the corresponding s-phenylethynyl compounds.2.The reaction of potassium cyclopentadienyltricarbonylmolybdate with cinnamoyl chloride takes place with the migration of the cinnamoyl group to the cyclopentadienyl ring.
