Abstrakt: Conclusions 1.A study has been made of the effect of temperature change over the interval from 295 to 77°K on the parameters of the electronic absorption spectra of the aromatic derivatives of the elements of groups IIIB, IVB, and VB.2.The observed changes in the positions and intensities of the bands in the spectra are explained in terms of the electronic structure of the valence shell of the heteroatom, the ability of this shell to enter into pp-coupling with the aromatic substituent, and the steric requirements imposed on such process.
