1.The mobility of surface hydrogen increases in passing from faujasite to mordenite structure, and increasing the degree of surface dehydroxylation.2.The increase in the zeolite structure stability observed in going from X to Y to mordenite is accompanied by an increase in the OH group thermal stability. Breakdown of the mordenite crystal structure leads to a reduction in the OH group concentration. |
