1.The nature of the thermal decomposition of ferrocyanides of ammines of the transition metals was studied, using the method of GR and IR spectroscopy, with Cu(II) tetrammine ferrocyanide as an example. The thermal decomposition of these salts proceeds according to an intrasphere mechanism and is accompanied by the transfer of a cyanide ligand.2.During the process of decomposition of ferrocyanides of ammines of the transition metals there is a formation of “substances of the transition state,” representing binuclear complexes, in which the atoms of the two metal complex formers are bonded by a bridge cyano group, common to both coordination spheres. |
