Abstrakt: 1.The thermal decomposition of cesium, rubidium, and potassium perchloratoborates was studied under vacuum and at atmospheric pressure. Under vacuum the decomposition proceeds endothermically and is accompanied by an evolution of Cl2O7, ClO2, Cl2, and O2. The exothermic nature of the decomposition of Cs[B(ClO4)4] at atmospheric pressure is explained by a secondary reaction of decomposition of Cl2O7. The final solid products (350°) are MClO4 and B2O3.2.An influence of pressure on the temperature of polythermal decomposition of perchloratoborates and a slowdown of the isothermal decomposition in an atmosphere of Cl2O7 were detected. These phenomena were interpreted as an indication of a reversible nature of the decomposition of perchloratoborates at the early stages.
