Vibrational spectra and structure of certain aromatic derivatives of mercury, tin, and lead

Abstrakt: 1.The IR spectra of a number of aromatic derivatives of Hg, Sn, and Pb were investigated, and the bands characteristic of the Ar-M, M-CH3COO, M-Cl, and M-C2H5 groups were isolated.2.The influence of the force constant of the Ph-M bond, the mass of the element M, and the angle PhMPh on the frequencies and forms of the vibrations in which?Ph-M participates was studied theoretically on the model Ph2M.3.The force constant of the Ph-M bond decreases systematically with the mass number of the element of group IVB.
