Abstrakt: 1.The systems AlCl3-LiCl-ether, AlCl3-LiCl-toluene, and AlBr3-NaBr-toluene were investigated at 25° by the method of construction of the solubility isotherms, study of the electric conductivity of saturated solutions, and x-ray diffraction study of the crystallizing phases.2.All three systems are characterized by a substantial increase in the solubility of the alkali halide when aluminum halide is added. The maximum solubility of LiCl in ether is 7.15% in the presence of 32.7% AlCl3, and in toluene 5.72% LiCl in the presence of 35.1% AlC13. The solubility of NaBr in toluene reaches 11.2% NaBr in the presence of 72.0% AlBr3.3.The composition 2AlBr3 · C6H5CH3 for compounds in the binary system AlBr3-toluene was confirmed by the method of construction of the solubility isotherms of the ternary system AlBr3-NaBr-toluene.
