1.The IR spectra of N-(hydroxyalkyl)-uracils were studied in the solid state and in solution.2.The OH group of the hydroxyalkyl radical of 3-(ß-hydroxyethyl)-6-methyluracils participates in an intramolecular hydrogen bond.3.The OH group of the hydroxyethyl radical of 1-(ß-hydroxyethyl)-6-methyluracils participates in an intermolecular hydrogen bond. |
