1.In the reaction of sodium bicarbonate with 40–60% hydrogen peroxide at -10°, preparations containing about 50% by weight sodium peroxobicarbonate NaHCO4·H2O in a mixture with unreacted bicarbonate ] were obtained.2.The formation of an additive compound of hydrogen peroxide with a bicarbonate with the composition Na2CO3 · 1.5 H2O2in the temperature region 0–20° is a consequence of a secondary process of intramolecular conversion of the peroxobicarbonate monohydrate NaHCO4 · H2O, accompanied by liberation of carbon dioxide.3.Sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate Na2CO3 · 1.5 H2O2 was isolated in pure form, and its physicochemical properties were studied: density, indices of refraction, molecular refraction, refraction of the hydrogen peroxide of crystallization, interplane distances, and limit of thermal stability. |
