1.The hydrochlorination of ß-silicon-containing vinyl ethers was investigated and it was shown that at a temperature below 30°, the reaction proceeds with the formation of ß -silicon-containing a-chloroethyl ethers.2.In contrast to the sulfur analogues, the ß-silicon-containing vinyl sulfides, at a temperature above -15° and an excess of hydrogen chloride, the formation of ß -silicon-containing a-chloro ethers is complicated by their cleavage at the Si-C bond. A reaction scheme is presented. |
