1.The reduction of sulfur in the presence of Fe +2 ions was studied. Two new waves and an earlier rise in the current were detected in this system.2.The experimental data were explained using the concepts of the interaction both of HgS and of FeS in two different waves, with the formation of S -2 ions on one, and HS- ions (or H2S) on the other. |
