| Abstrakt: | 1.An investigation was made of the catalytic breakdown of tetrahydropyran, tetrahydro-2-methylpyran, tetrahydro-2-phenylpyran, tetrahydro-2-methylfuran, 2-ethyltetrahydrofuran, and 1,3-epoxypentane into olefins and carbonyl compounds over a titanium oxide-alumina catalyst.2.A study was made of the temperature-dependence of the cracking and dehydration of tetrahydropyran and tetrahydro-2-methylfuran over the same catalyst. |
