Physical properties and special characteristics of the electron structure of Co2Si-Ni2Si alloys

Abstrakt: The specific electrical resistance, absolute thermo-emf, Hall coefficient, thermal conductivity, and paramagnetic susceptibility of Co2Si-Ni2Si solid solutions are given as functions of temperature (80–350‡K). An explanation is offered for the anomalous concentration dependence of all these properties on the basis of interband s ? d transitions. The properties of the alloys with compositions close to Ni2Si are explained on the basis of the linear-correspondence model.
