Abstrakt: 1.Pure iron films 30-10,000 Å thick have been produced electrolytically, and certain of their magnetic properties have been studied.2.As the film thickness is reduced from 10,000 Å to 50 Å, the saturation magnetization remains constant at 1000 G; for thinner films, it decreases rapidly.3.The coercive force increases slowly as the thickness is decreased from 10,000 Å to about 2000 Å and then increases rapidly.4.The iron deposited on electrodeposited copper is distributed more uniformly.5.In the case of very thin films (100 Å or below), the rectangularity coefficient decreases rapidly.
