The three-dimensional structures of four stereoisomers of 2-phenyl-4-ethynyldecahydro-4-quinolinol were determined by PMR and IR spectroscopy. The IR spectra of axial alcohols with an axial ? substituent provide evidence for the existence of two equilibrium forms in solution. |
