| Abstrakt: | Depending on the reaction conditions, the reaction of 5-nitro-2-methoxy- and 5-nitro-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidines with the acetylacetone carbanion gives potassium salts of 5-nitrodiacetylmethylenepyrimidines or, as a result of recyclization of the pyrimidine ring, 5-nitro-2-hydroxyacetophenone. |
