2-Alkyl(aryl, hetaryl)-6,8-dimethylthiazolo[2,3-f]xanthines were synthesized from 8-bromotheophylline and a-halo ketones with subsequent replacement of the bromine atom by sulfur and cyclization of the resulting 7-acylmethyl-8-thiotheophyllines under the influence of dehydrating agents. |
