| Abstrakt: | The dissociative ionization of substituted 3-aroylindolizines proceeds with the successive loss of an aryl residue and CO. Detachment of OH and CHO groups proceeds simultaneously. The stabilities of the indolizines and the similarly constructed indole derivatives are compared. |
