Abstrakt: 1.Commercially pure titanium and low-alloy a-alloy PT-7M with a hydrogen content above the solubility limit at 20°C is inclined towards aging, i.e., a reduction in impact strength during storage. Aging is due to separation of titanium hydride in the structure and it occurs more rapidly, the more hydrogen in the alloy.2.A basic method for removing hydrogen aging and stabilizing impact strength is degassing the alloy by heat treatment in a vacuum.
