1.In the initial stage of aging martensite in Fe 18Ni 6Ta and Fe 18Ni 6Ta 10Co alloys the electrical resistivity increases. This is evidently due to the formation of clusters or microregions with ordered distribution of atoms (the precipitation stage). In the second stage of aging the electrical resistivity decreases sharply, which is due to formation of intermetallic phase Ni3Ta.2.The thermal effect during low-temperature aging of these alloys is far larger than during high-temperature aging, which is not characteristic of well-known maraging alloys.3.The precipitation stage has a considerable effect on hardening of these maraging alloys.4.Alloying with cobalt leads to additional hardening, which is due to formation of short- and/or long-range order of the FeCo type. |
