Conclusions 1.Thermocyclic treatment of the steels investigated leads to stabilization of austenite in the case where recrystallization of austenite does not have time to occur.2.Reducing the heating rate during TCT holds back the recrystallization process.3.When recrystallization is suppressed by means of phase strain hardening it is possible to control the amount of austenite and the kinetics of its transformation to martensite. The ductile characteristics increase considerably, with slight reduction of the strength characteristics. |
