1.The rate and means by which graphite is formed (directly or from carbide) depend on the composition of the steel and the degree of supercooling of austenite.2.Deoxidation of the steel with aluminum and defects in the cast structure (chemical and physical microheterogeneities) increase the rate of graphitization. |
