Abstrakt: 1.Quantitative data were obtained on the silicon concentration in ferrite during diffusion siliciding by the method described in [6], which makes it possible to calculate the mobility of silicon atoms.2.The diffusion coefficients of silicon were determined in carbon steels with different amounts of carbon during siliciding for 1–6h, confirming the previously proposed mechanism for the effect of siliciding time on pore formation in diffusion coatings.
