Abstrakt: Conclusions 1.The cavitation resistance of steel 0Kh12N8ATYu in the martensitic-austenitic condition (with unstable austenite) is higher than in the martensitic condition.2.Due to the larger amount of austenite in the steel, preliminary hot deformation in the austenitic condition refines the martensite that occurs during cooling and in the course of cavitation, increasing the cavitation resistance.
