| Abstrakt: |
An intermediate layer of nickel 10–12 µ thick completely prevents formation of a brittle interlayer in the transition zone of steel+Monel bimetal. However, the use of a nickel interlayer is expedient only in cases where parts manufactured from the bimetal are intended for prolonged operation at high temperatures. |
