Dendritic and zonal heterogeneities in the KhN67MTYu and KhN60MVTYu alloys

Abstrakt: 1.In the KhN67VMTYu and KhN60MVTYu alloys slow crystallization leads to dendritic and zonal liquation, which considerably decreases the mechanical characteristics of the alloys.2.Within the area of spotted liquation we found inclusions of titanium carbonitride (Ti, Mo, W) (C, N) and a double carbide of the (Mo, W)3 (Ni, Cr)3 (C, B) type.3.The decrease of dendritic heterogeneity by homogenization and the elimination of spotted liquation by accelerated crystallization improves the mechanical properties of the alloys.
