Abstrakt: Abstract: The distribution of Fe, Co, Zn, Se, Sr, Sb and Cs in the spleen tissue of healthy C3Hf/Bu mice and mice infected by syngeneic lymphoma was measured by neutron activation analysis. The progression of syngeneic lymphoma in mice leads to a reduction of Se and Fe concentration, and an increase of Co concentration, in spleen tissue. This has not been observed in healthy mice. The concentration of Cs increases slightly in diseased and healthy spleen tissue, but the differences are not significant. The concentration of Sb and Sr changes continuously, as compared with the concentration of Zn, which remains constant. As demonstrated by experimental data, Fe, Se and Co could be used as markers of this tumorigenic process.
