Abstrakt: |
Based on a finite-element calculation of the stress-strain state of pipe made taking into consideration the real conditions of fastening and loading of them in test devices the possibility of use of new methods of strength tests of glass pipe under internal hydrostatic pressure is theoretically based. It is shown that the test method presently specified does not make it possible to obtain sufficient information on the supporting capacity of glass pipe as a result of the fact that initiation of failure occurs under the influence of effects occurring in the end zones. |
