Conclusions 1.The repeated operations involved in making very thin-walled tubes for bellows very adversely affect the mechanical parameters of 08Kh18N10T steel under static and cyclic loads.2.The mechanical properties are adversely affected on account of the production of microscopic flaws and scratches, and also by grain growth.3.The working life of bellows made of 08Kh18N10T steel may be improved if the number of cycles involved in making the thin-walled tube can be reduced. |
