Abstrakt: Conclusions 1.In austenitic Cr-Ni and Cr-Ni-Mn steels, alloying with nitrogen leads to an increase in the strength of the metal without any substantial loss of ductility at temperatures down to-269°C.2.Alloying with nitrogen raises the stability of the austenite and considerably reduces its tendency to form deformation martensite during low-temperature stressing.
