Abstrakt: 1.Aluminum powders exhibit high stability during prolonged room-temperature storage at humidities of up to 80%.2.The ability of an Al powder with Ssp˜4000 cm2/g to adsorb moisture substantially grows when the temperature is raised to 30‡C or higher.3.Storage of an Al powder under 99% humidity conditions leads to the formation of a-Al2O3·3H2O, more rapid adsorption, and the sintering of the powder.
