1.As the matrix of sintered frictional bronzes, the ternary system Cu-Al-Sn (with appropriate additions) ensures much better service characteristics than do the corresponding binary systems.2.The best frictional and wear properties are exhibited by materials based on single-phase bronze whose matrix is alloyed with Al and Sn in the ratio 2.5:1.3.In the solution of some practical problems in powder metallurgy, use should be made of the method of extremal experiment planning, which offers a number of distinct advantages. |
